Why this exists
Most rejections are not about the science.
They are about an argument a reader could not follow, a method a stranger could not rebuild, a limitation you did not name before a reviewer did, and a cover letter that gave an editor no reason to send the paper out. None of that requires new data — it is invisible to you because you have read this manuscript ninety times.

What it is not. The diagnostic is not a proofread, not a copy-edit, and not a rewrite. It does not touch your sentences; if you want them edited, The Language Pass below does that, by the same specialist, with every change recorded. Nobody here invents your arguments or puts words in your discussion section. Every recommendation is an instruction to you, in your voice, about your work.

One pass of academic language editing, by the specialist who signed your diagnostic.
We edit text you wrote: grammar, syntax, tense and agreement, sentence clarity, the order of sentences inside a paragraph, terminology and notation consistency across the whole document, academic register, and reference formatting to your venue’s style. Choosing or replacing sources is not editing, and we do not do it.
What we never edit: your argument. The diagnostic tells you to move section 3 and says why. It does not move it for you. Where a change to the language would change what a sentence claims, we flag the question and you answer it.
Every altered sentence is recorded in a change log delivered with the pass, and your report carries the acknowledgements wording filled in. The declaration is written before anybody asks you for one.
€299. One pass, up to 10,000 words. Documents above the cap are quoted individually. A second pass over your own revisions is a second €299, because unlimited passes is how disclosed editing turns into co-writing over three rounds, and the drift is invisible from inside it.
Your editing date is confirmed in writing before the pass starts, and it is a separate date from your diagnostic delivery. A rush diagnostic does not make the editing rush.

Language editing
Editing, by somebody who read the paper
Most scholars writing in English as a second language want two things, and the order matters. They want to know whether the argument holds. Then they want the English to stop getting in the way of it.
The diagnostic answers the first. The Language Pass answers the second, and the same named specialist does both.
That continuity is the whole of the difference, and you can check it without taking our word for anything. One name on the diagnostic. The same name on the change log.

If, after reviewing your file, we don’t believe the MRI is the right instrument for your paper, you get a full refund or a credited switch to a better-fitting service — decided within 24 hours of receipt, before any work begins.
After delivery, if the work misses the brief we agreed, tell us within 14 days and we revise it once, free. If the revision still misses it, half the fee comes back as a refund or a credit, your choice.
